Resume

I am currently working as a Marketing Strategist for a name tag printing company, Coller Industries Incorporated (2014). This job has me focus on content writing and marketing of the company's various products. I also work with all the social media platform marketing for the company.

I also moonlight as the Marketing Director for Bear Bottom Mining (2013). BBM manufactures a gold sluice box that is sold online through an e-commerce site. As the Marketing Director, I am in charge of all publications issued by the company as well as minor website updating.

I worked for The Valley Journals, specifically The South Valley Journal. I was originally hired as the Education Beat writer (Feb. to Sept. 2011). Shortly after the first publishing, I was given a second beat to cover and wrote the Bluffdale City Beat (Feb. to Sept. 2011). The education beat covered three high schools and their satellite schools. I covered the school events and news. The city beat is hyper-local and covered the "good news" in the city.

In 2010, I was hired as a beat writer for Table Hopping Magazine (2010 to 2011). Table Hopping is located in Syracuse, NY and features articles on local bars, pubs and restaurants. I wrote two columns a month for them; the Club Scene column and the Person of Interest column.

While in New York, I worked briefly with The Scotsman Pennysaver. The Pennysaver, also located in Syracuse, covered most of the upstate region, but I only had the opportunity to cover two community events (2009).

While attending The University of Maine, I wrote for The Maine Campus (2006-2007). I was one of the weekly Police Beat Reporters and also a News Staff Writer. I would review the police blotters and write up anything that pertained to the college and the students. I also covered community and university news.
